A competency evaluation has been ordered for a 26-year-old Fond du Lac man who allegedly entered unlocked homes while he was nude.

Lucas Leffel, formerly of 408 Greenbriar Ave., remains in Fond du Lac County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond. He appeared Thursday, Aug. 21, before Judge Richard Nuss for a preliminary hearing but it was delayed. He is charged with three counts of burglary and four counts of second-degree sexual assault of an unconscious victim.

The evaluation was requested by Leffel's attorney, Fond du Lac County Public Defender Barbara Privat.

According to a criminal complaint, Leffel told police he has been addicted to pornography since age 11 and had entered a home on Aug. 9 on Greenbriar Avenue, walked upstairs and found a man and woman in bed. He untucked the bedspread and lifted the woman's pajama pants to feel her buttocks but she awoke and yelled and he ran out of the residence.

Leffel said he attempted to touch another woman in bed at another residence but a man woke up and chased him, the complaint stated. Leffel is also accused of entering two homes on Primrose Lane and a home on Crowfoot Court.
